Palindrome Cluster Creates a Warm Welcome at DeSalvo Construction HeadquartersJuly 2026

The best lighting doesn’t simply illuminate a room. It helps define how people experience it.

At the newly expanded DeSalvo Construction headquarters in Youngstown, Ohio, a Palindrome cluster serves as the centerpiece of the company’s gathering space, adding warmth, scale, and visual interest beneath the building’s exposed timber ceiling.

Designed by Phillips-Sekanick Architects, the renovation called for a decorative fixture that would create an immediate focal point while complementing the natural materials used throughout the interior.

Working alongside DeSalvo Construction owner Joe DeSalvo, Jill Nagy of DLS Group helped select Lumetta’s Palindrome cluster to anchor the space. The fixture’s layered composition introduces soft, diffused illumination while echoing the architectural rhythm of the heavy timber structure.

Rather than competing with the architecture, the fixture becomes part of it, balancing the scale of the room and creating an inviting atmosphere for employees and visitors alike.

This project is also a reminder that meaningful lighting solutions come from collaboration. From the architect’s vision to the owner’s input and the expertise of the local representative, every decision contributed to a fixture that feels perfectly suited to its environment.
