The St. Joe County Public Library’s Centre Branch has been completely reimagined as a modern community destination that celebrates learning, creativity, and connection. Thoughtfully designed library lighting brings warmth and clarity to every corner of the space, while strategic lighting for libraries ensures an ideal balance of illumination for reading, collaboration, and events. The renovated interior now features open sightlines, flexible study rooms, and larger meeting spaces that adapt seamlessly to a variety of programs and uses.

At the heart of the design, Lumetta’s 48″ surface mount drum and modified 60″ drum pendant fixtures highlight the vaulted ceilings, accentuating the architectural form while creating an inviting, evenly lit environment for patrons. The exterior upgrades—including new windows, refreshed façades, and enhanced landscaping—extend the welcoming atmosphere outdoors. A newly designed, nature-inspired play area encourages families to connect with the library’s mission in fresh and engaging ways.

In collaboration with Dave Baker Agency and MKM Design and Architecture, Lumetta developed a library lighting solution that blends form and function beautifully. The result is a space that exemplifies exceptional lighting for libraries in a vibrant, flexible environment where visitors can read, learn, and gather under thoughtfully crafted ceiling mount lights that make the library truly shine.
