Lens Options That Support Lighting Performance and Design FlexibilityMay 2026
The right lens option can completely change the look and performance of a lighting fixture. At Lumetta, we offer a variety of top and bottom lens options that help designers control light distribution, support maintenance needs, and customize the overall appearance of a luminaire.
Our lens options are available in opaque white, clear, perforated metal, and applied Lumenate® finishes. Applied Lumenate® lenses can be designed to match the fixture shade for a seamless look or specified in a complementary pattern or color to create additional visual interest.

Top lenses can also help direct light output based on the needs of the space. An opaque white top lens helps push illumination downward when downlight is preferred. A clear top lens allows more uplight distribution, making it ideal for spaces where softer ambient lighting is desired.
Most Lumetta luminaires include white top and bottom lenses as standard. Lenses are removable for easy cleaning and maintenance, and replacement lenses are available if a fixture needs refreshing over time. Customers can order a direct replacement or explore an alternate lens design for a new look.
For applications that require additional security, including behavioral health environments, non-removable lens options are also available.
From performance to customization, Lumetta’s lens options provide designers with added flexibility while maintaining the clean, decorative aesthetic our fixtures are known for.
