Lumetta at LEDucation 2026: A Design Space Centered on Lumenate®April 2026

In partnership with Diversified, Lumetta joined LEDucation 2026, held April 14–15 at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City, with a booth centered on what truly sets us apart, our signature material, Lumenate®.

Celebrating its 20th year, LEDucation continues to be one of the most influential gatherings in the lighting industry, featuring more than 500 exhibitors across four exhibit halls and a full schedule of educational sessions and presentations.

At this year’s LEDucation lighting exhibition, Lumetta created a design space dedicated to material exploration, showcasing how Lumenate® shapes the look, feel, and performance of our decorative lighting. The space also featured a custom-designed light table that doubled as a functional fixture, giving visitors a chance to see how Lumenate® performs when backlit.

A Booth Built Around Material and Process

Rather than a traditional product display, Lumetta’s LEDucation 2026 booth was designed as a creative environment that highlighted Lumenate® as both a design medium and a defining element of our fixtures.

The material itself adds depth, pattern, and a softer visual quality, making it a strong fit for both standard and custom decorative lighting used in architectural spaces. What many people don’t realize is that Lumenate® is UL tested, antimicrobial, and often does more than diffuse light. In many cases, it also becomes part of the fixture’s structure.

Custom Lighting Designs Showcasing Lumenate®

At the center of the booth were three custom lighting designs, each demonstrating a different approach to working with Lumenate®:

  • Two low-profile fixtures featuring unique, modern shapes paired with Design Lumenate®, highlighting how pattern and form work together in a refined way
  • A drum pendant displaying an array of Lumenate® colors wrapped around the entire fixture, demonstrating the full range of our color matching capabilities
  • A custom light table designed in-house, built to explore how Lumenate® interacts with light from within while also standing on its own as a functional fixture

Together, these pieces illustrated the flexibility of Lumetta’s process, where material exploration and form development go hand in hand.

Inspiring Designers at LEDucation 2026

Throughout LEDucation 2026, Lumetta connected with lighting designers, architects, and industry professionals looking for decorative lighting that stands apart in commercial environments.

By focusing on material, craftsmanship, and customization, the booth offered a clear look into how Lumetta approaches lighting design across hospitality, healthcare, education, and workplace environments.

Looking Ahead

As LEDucation 2026 comes to a close, we’re leaving inspired by the conversations and connections from the show floor. We’re proud to keep pushing the boundaries of decorative lighting, starting with the materials that bring it to life.
